Daniel Rowell shot his first gun—a .22 bolt action—at age three, and he’s been firearm focused ever since. For the past five years, gunsmithing has been his passion, ‘tinkering,’ cleaning, repairing, modifying, customizing and restoring whatever comes through the door. “I resurrected one today that had old camouflage tape on it and a mountain of gravel and sand in it,” Daniel says. “Restoring the old ones is the best part of the job.” Originally from Murfreesboro, now living in Burns, TN, he and his wife have two children.
