A Nashville native and 25 year veteran of the Metro Nashville Police Department, Bo Smith is a weapons & tactics instructor. He developed an interest in firearms at an early age from his father who was a firearms instructor with the Marine Corps and with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Bo spent 13 years in the patrol division and 12 years as a school resource officer before retiring in 2020. His credentials include State Certified Armed/Unarmed Security Guard Trainer, State Certified Handgun Carry Permit Instructor, and NRA Range Safety Officer. Bo and his wife have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. In his down time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
