SKILLS AND DRILLS
If you want to be a better shooter, you likely understand that you have to practice. What exactly to practice is the question.
Shooting drills are a great way to improve with a firearm, and chances are that improvement will come quickly. Proper practice will not only help shooters become more accurate, but it will also make them more familiar with their guns and will reinforce the basic skill sets that are essential to becoming proficient.
There's nothing wrong with shooting drills for the sake of fun but doing so at the expense of practicing more fundamental skills is foolish- if your goal is to be a better defensive hand gunner.
Drills that have you running and gunning against the timer tend to become the "end all to beat all" for many shooters. However, the serious shooter understands that a drill is a means to an end, with the goal being to attain real-world proficiency as opposed to action movie flash and flare.
Our cadre at Royal Range Training Academy will put you through many drills that will challenge you and increase your marksmanship, pistol handling and decision-making skills, with the end result of you becoming a better defensive hand gunner.
