SPEED AND PRECISION PISTOL

“Accuracy is Primary, Speed is Secondary” is the foundation of this course. Understanding the how and why behind drawing and employing a pistol quickly, and achieving fast, precise hits by enhancing VISION is the purpose of this course. Instructors will assist you on the journey to utilizing a pistol subconsciously so you can focus more on identifying and solving problems.

• Trigger control for increased accuracy

• Proper Grip and Body Mechanics to manage recoil more efficiently

• Sight Acquisition – Red Dot and Traditional Sights 

• How to Plan a Practice Session 

• Rythmatic Shooting in Context to Achieve Quickness in

• Shot Placement 

• Making the Long Shot 

• Multiple Target Engagement and Driving the Gun 

• Mental Modulation from Quick to Precise

• Drills to reinforce skillsets that are demonstrated

PREREQUISITES:
Defensive Pistol Series or Equivalent from a Reputable Training Academy 

EQUIPMENT: 

• Carry Pistol – Recommended Mid to Full Size Pistol 

• Your preferred carry holster – OWB, IWB, Appendix

• 3 Magazines – With At least One Magazine Carrier

• Eye and Ear Protection

• Rugged Clothing and Footwear

• Appropriate Belt

• Appropriate Cover Garment
