Basic interventions for trauma and emergencies! 

This course packs a lot of practical information in an evening of instruction!  Learn how to be your OWN first responder or how to provide basic care to those who are injured.  Topics include everything from calling 911 to how to bandage and move a patient.  Students will learn how to splint arms/legs, bandage wounds, stop massive bleeding, position and move patients, and cover a variety of basic medical emergencies as well.  If you have an IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit), we will also go over the basic use of each of the components.  Bring a notebook, a pen, and open mind while we learn life saving skills!
